Christmas Horse Camp
Come to our Beginner Christmas Horse Camp at Carolina Country Acres! This is a great Christmas present and it gives your kids something to do during Christmas break. Our goal is to provide your child with a fun filled week of safe, fun, and quality instruction at our horse stable We accept children ages 5 and up. We offer tons of fun activities such as games on horseback, riding lessons, trail riding, crafts, grooming, tacking and untacking, etc. The dates will be Dec 29- 31 from 9-2.

Carolina Country Acres hosted the Dec 13th Medal Finals show where we had invited the top four point earners from the 2′, 2’3″, and 2’6″ divisions and had a $1000 purse! Congrats to Sarah and Caesar for winning the derby on the Dec 13th Medal Finals show and Kathryn Turner and Tea on winning the SCEC medal final.
Interested joining us for the next season? The members of the South Charlotte Equine Circuit get experience showing, practice their skills, give green horses milage and prepare themselves to move up to a new division. UNCC – IHSA UPDATE!
We had a great IHSA show with the UNCC-Charlotte girls! Everyone rode amazing and it was a great last show of the semester. We can’t wait to start back at the beginning of the new year! Excited for what the future holds for this hard working team. High Point rider was Holland Caudle!

Congratulations to both of our IEA teams for being Champion at our IEA show on Dec 6th ! A huge thank you to Lake Norman IEA and Sunset Ridge for cohosting with us. Also want to say thank you to Cedarhill Farms and Fox Run for graciously providing us with horses. And we can’t thank our riders and parents enough for all their hard work and support for making our show a success!

Join us for the new Equi-Fitness program where we combine the fun of riding horses with a real workout for your health.
- Strengthen and work your core, inner and outer thighs and calves.
- Increase cardio function and endurance.
- Improve your balance , posture and confidence.
Our classes are taught by Denise Hammond, who is a Health educator and Personal Trainer and has over 20 years experience working with kids, teens and adults in health and fitness programming. She also teaches cycle for the YMCA’s and is a public health and wellness speaker. Denise is a certified personal trainer: ACE, Lifestyle Counselor, Group Exercise Instructor and Horseback Riding Instructor by the US Pony Club. We are so privileged to welcome Denise to our CCA team.
